Our Education Ethos & Philosophy :

We Strongly believe in the concept of child-centered education. Our teachers are oriented and trained to act as facilitators of learning, performing the role of a "guide by side"as against the traditional role of a pulpit-based "teacher as a preacher". We aim at inducing in our children the qualities of initiative, exploration, assimilation & analysis. We perceive in the children a storehouse of potentials and a seeking and questing spirit that leads them into an infinite realm of knowledge, perception and understanding. We lay particular emphasis on the development of a child's physical, intellectual, cognitive, moral, aesthetic, emotional and social aspects of personality and firmly lay our confidence in the holistic approach towards education.

Our Educational Methodology:

1. At the Pre Primary level, we put into practice the 'Learning-by-doing' and play-way methodologies. The focus is on the objective of preparing children for formal learning later on and to ensure that all the children under our care acquire skills aimed at their all round growth and development in all the areas deemed significant - physical, cognitive, social, aesthetic and moral.

2. At the Primary level, we are selective about our curriculum in all the subjects with the explicit objective in mind that quality rather than quantity is the basis of meaningful learning at this stage.  Children should assimilate and internalize knowledge and experience and co-relate it with real life.  To achieve this objective, we involve our children in various projects related to their curriculum.

3. We have a plethora of co-curricular and extracurricular activities spread over the academic year to offer children opportunities to explore and expose their potential and talent in any field.  Public speaking, fine arts, performing arts, creative writing and sporting activities are some of them.

4. We follow a system of continuous evaluation at all levels in the form of Unit Tests as    recommended by the C.B.S.E .  The purpose is to cover the given syllabus in convenient segments, giving each segment the required period of time in terms of instruction and revision.  The credits in each Unit Test carry weight at the time of promotion to the next class.  The system ensures regular and planned implementation of instruction and evaluation within a time frame.  A child's promotion to the next class does not depend on one major examination alone ulnder this system.
