Leave Of Absence

Absence must be explained in the form of a leave note on the page of the diary set apart for the purpose along with the parents / guardian's signature. Only the parent / guardian accepted by the school will enter the remarks or sign in the diary.

A student who has remained absent the previous day must get his / her school diary signed by the class teacher on the day he / she comes to school.

Leave of absence is not granted except on PRIOR WRITTEN APPLICATION from parents / guardians (except in the case of unforeseen circumstances). Every absence must be briefly entered in the Leave Record page and duly signed by the parent / guardian.

For long absences on account of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted. Students recovered from contagious diseases will attend classes only after submitting a medical certificate stating that isolation is no more required.

Repeated or extended absence (fifteen days or more) without intimation shall hold the student liable to have his her name struck off the rolls.
